How to Clean

1. Remove Glue: Use a lash-safe adhesive remover or a small amount of acetone to dissolve glue buildup.
2. Wash: Clean with warm, soapy water using a small brush, then rinse thoroughly.
3. Disinfect: Soak in a hospital-grade disinfectant (like Barbicide) for 10 minutes max.
4. Dry: Rinse with water, then pat dry completely with a clean towel.
5. Store: Keep in a clean, covered container labeled “Disinfected.” Always have multiple pairs ready for use.

How to Remove Lash Glue 

• Keep 100% acetone on hand.
• Apply a small amount to a sponge or cloth.
• Gently wipe only the area with adhesive until clean, then rinse and dry.

How do I know what tweezer shape is right for me?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer — it’s all about comfort and control. LashBox LA offers a variety of shapes like Boot, L, J, and M tweezers. Many beginners start with a Boot tweezer, but as your technique evolves, you’ll find what feels most natural. The key is to test different shapes until you find the one that fits your hand and style best.

Why are my tweezers not working?

This usually comes down to one of three things:

1. Glue on the tip – Even a little can stop your tweezers from gripping properly.
2. Bent or damaged tips – Always store tweezers safely to protect alignment.
3. Filed or scratched insides – Never use a nail file or anything abrasive inside the tips; it ruins precision and grip.

Yes! Our tweezers are designed to work with all lash diameters — from ultra-light 0.02 lashes to thicker 0.15 classics. Each pair is built for control, flexibility, and a consistent sweet spot.

Do I need different tweezers for different lash styles or sets?

Not necessarily — but certain shapes can make specific looks easier. For example, Boot or Fiber Grip tweezers are great for volume and pre-made fans, while M-shaped tweezers offer precision and comfort for long lashing sessions.

What tweezers work best for premade or Y lashes?

Our Fiber Grip or Boot-style tweezers are perfect for picking up and placing premade or Y lashes. Their micro-texture/ special etching helps hold the fan securely without slipping or crushing the base.

What does “flexible tweezer” mean?

Unlike stiff tweezers that just open and close, these have a slight spring in the center, allowing the tips to stay closed while the middle releases slightly.
